Officer Dealt Drugs To Inmates / South Carolina

LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. -- A South Carolina Department of Corrections officer is accused of trying to deal drugs to inmates.

 

Charley Nicole Calvert is charged with misconduct in office and possession with intent to distribute drugs.

 

State Law Enforcement Division agents said that Calvert took drugs from an undercover officer in Laurens County with the intent to sell them to an inmate for $300.
